History of alFACES™

With little more than a vision and a prayer, the founder of alFACES™ left her career to fulfill a dream of earning an income, having fun while she did it, and keeping back enough to allow her to give back to the community. Inspired by the courage of those before her who left their safe and secure environments to follow a dream, alFACES™ skin care line began with a simple vision that we –as a community and also as a society—would do well to place more importance on our similarities as humans while retaining our unique identities as individual persons.

Having been a “product junkie” her whole life and spending many years as a pharmaceutical sales representative specializing in dermatological products, she approached several dermatologists about her notion of developing and testing a skin care line that was scientifically sound, aesthetically pleasing and, most significantly, amenable to all skin types. She wanted this product line to contain ingredients beneficial to the needs of all ethnic groups, genders, ages, and skin types.

Finally, she found a board certified dermatologist that understood her vision and was willing to conduct the necessary tests and work with the chemists to create a line of products with ingredients that word work well in African American, Asian, Caucasian, Latino, and Indian skin of all ages. Thus, the dream became a reality and alFACES™ was founded.

To her knowledge, this is the first skin care line developed, dermatologist tested, and recommended specifically for all faces. Hence the concept…All Faces Welcome was born!

To ensure that all faces can avail themselves of the alFACES™ line, the founder has set price points for the line much lower than many specialty skin lines currently on the market.
